This coastal reserve is situated in Hansmoeskraal, which lies south of the town of George, between Pacaltsdorp and the Indian Ocean.
This area is earmarked as the expansion of George and within the future urban edge. Le Grande Golf Course and Oubaai Golf Course are nearby.
The reserve is 8 km from George, and accessed via 3 km gravel road from Pacaltsdorp. This road is in the process of being tarred by Le Grand Golf Course.

The area is without crime. The Pacaltsdorp police station is right at the entrance of the access road with all traffic coming in and out driving past the police station. A security fence and gate will be erected by the developer.
There is a home owners association, and the current levies are R500 per month.
